Hayden’s cold
Hayden is still sounding like an old dog when he coughs (sorry Anna and Ivan, our 8 yr old Golden Retrievers) so I am bringing him back to DEAN this afternoon. We have been watching his temperature and today it has went up to 99.3. Despite the shower steam and nebulizer treatments, I think we will have to continue the PredisoLONE to kick this in the but. I will contact Dr. Delgado first for his opinion.

I am sorry to hear Hayden’s sick with the croup…BUT, I AM SO DANG HAPPY about the matching stem cell/cord donors….this IS FANTASTIC!!!!!
Slowly but surely we are KICKING this crap in the BUTT!
Keep your hopes up and you credit card balances down!! HA HA!

And Abby - I know you are being a wonderful and helpful big sister and Hayden is going to appreciate that soo much when you guys get older. So keep it up!

Dear Kami,
I came across your website on David McNally’s website. David had his transplant about the same time as my son, Jacob. Jacob also had WAS and is doing great. He suffered from some pretty serious GVHD, but is off of all meds except AMoxicillian which he will take until he gets vaccinated.

I’ll be praying for the little man to be in tip-top shape so when they have the good news of scheduling the transplant he’s ready to rock & roll! You guys are doing an awesome job of keeping the website updated. Hope you were able to enjoy some of your weekend. Give Abby a big HELLO from us!
